XV Limanowa Forrest

The 15th International Anglosaxon Mountain Race Limanowa Forrest is a unique mountain race that climbs Miejska Góra, 716 m above sea level, where the Millennium Cross—the tallest steel cross in Poland—is located. The Anglosaxon-style course features varied terrain and follows hiking trails, forest roads and field roads, with some rocky sections and stretches on asphalt and pavement. The start and finish are on Bulwary Street in Limanowa, near the race office. The race takes place on 5 July 2026 at 12:00 and is organised by the Limanowa Forrest Sports Club.

The race office is at Primary and Preschool Complex No. 1, 4 M. Konopnickiej Street, Limanowa, and is open from 8:30 to 11:30. Runner check-in is from 8:30 to 11:30; baggage drop-off is from 8:30 to 14:30. The Nordic Walking start is at 12:02. Results are announced at 13:00, the awards ceremony is at 14:45, a prize draw is at 15:30, and the event ends at approximately 16:30. Members of KS Limanowa Forrest are exempt from the entry fee. The course is approximately 7 km long, with an elevation difference of approximately 350 metres. The start and finish are on Bulwary Street in Limanowa. The entry package includes medals, drinks, a recovery meal and prizes.
