XII Półmaraton Wierchami

The XII Wierchy Half Marathon is a mountain race held in the picturesque Beskid Sądecki, near Rytro. The half marathon route runs through challenging mountain trails with numerous refreshment points, offering participants beautiful views and a true terrain challenge. The event is organized by the Visegrad Marathon Association, which ensures the comfort and safety of runners. It is an excellent opportunity for mountain running enthusiasts to test their strength on a difficult but attractive course.

The race starts at 3:00 AM from the courtyard of Rytro Castle (for the 100 km distance). The route passes through various mountain trails, including the Main Beskid Trail, with numerous refreshment points and demanding ascents, such as up to Wielki Rogacz. The organizer recommends using appropriate trail equipment, including shoes and technical clothing, due to changing weather and difficult terrain. The event includes various distances, attractions for families, regional food, special gadgets for the fastest runners, and a relaxation zone with Piwniczanka.
