Race description
The 35th Independence Run in Warsaw is an annual running event organized on the occasion of National Independence Day. The main 10 km race takes place on the streets of the capital city, with start and finish lines located on Aleja Jana Pawła II. The event attracts both experienced runners and amateurs, offering also a Nordic walking category and a commemorative mile race over 1918 meters. The main race starts in waves, ensuring comfort and safety for participants. Organizers provide a rich program and efficient service, including the collection of race numbers at convenient times before the race.

Additional information
The main race starts at 11:11 with a wave division into time zones. The Independence Mile begins at 10:00. Participants in active wheelchair, handbike, and tandem categories start at 11:08. Race numbers can be collected at Westfield Arkadia from November 7 to 10; on race day, the race office is closed (except for packet pickup for participants from outside Warsaw between 8:00 and 10:00). Participants are asked to line up at the start in white or red shirts, forming a white-red flag. The route is well-known and loved, with about 20,000 participants taking part. The event includes various categories such as the main race, Nordic walking, and virtual options available until November 17. In previous years, it was the most numerous running event in Poland.
