11 Bieg Kurierów Sądeckich

The Bieg Kurierów Sądeckich is a historic mountain race held in the Beskid Sądecki Mountains, on a route from Rytro to the PTTK mountain shelter on Przehyba. The route is marked and covers a variety of surfaces: 15% asphalt, 5% gravel roads, and 80% forest trails, offering participants a chance to connect with nature on challenging terrain. The race commemorates couriers from World War II, and the course record is just under an hour. The organizer provides timekeeping, medical support, a commemorative medal, and a hot meal after the race.

The race office is open on 30.08.2025 from 08:00 to 09:45. Participants receive a clothing bag for the baggage deposit, which will be transported to the finish. After the race, vouchers for a hot meal and tea are available. Timing is electronic, with manual recording as well. Medical support is provided during the race. A special prize of 500 zł is offered for beating Andrzej Długosz’s course record (00:57:58). The race includes asphalt, gravel, and forest sections, with electronic timing, medals, race bibs, and drinks for participants. Registration is available online, and the event is part of the local sporting tradition.
