The 9th Charity Run for the Golden Coin in Olsztyn is an annual running event organized by the Future for Children Foundation, which supports sick and disabled children in Warmia and Masuria. The 5 km main race takes place by Lake Ukiel and is welcoming to all participants, including first-time runners. The event also features a family picnic and numerous attractions. Taking part is not only a sporting challenge, but above all a way to support children in need. The main race starts at 16:30, and the scenic route is also accessible to those who prefer walking.

There are accompanying races for children and young people over distances suited to their age; the first children’s race, over 400 m, starts at 15:35. The time limit for the 5 km main race is 1 hour. The event is a charity fundraiser supporting the rehabilitation and treatment of children from the region. Special guest Krystyna Abramczyk Puzio is a multiple Polish and world weightlifting champion. The event includes various distances, from 200 m for children to 5 km for adults, with participant limits and online registration. All proceeds go to charitable causes, and participants receive medals and keepsakes.
