Rio de Janeiro Virtual Challange

The Rio de Janeiro Virtual Challenge is a virtual challenge that takes you along a route through the vibrant streets and breathtaking landscapes of Rio de Janeiro, known as the Marvelous City. Participants can track their progress using a mobile app, logging various physical activities that are automatically converted into distance covered. The challenge lets you choose your own pace and completion time, and take part individually or as a team. In addition, for every bit of progress made in the challenge, the organizers plant trees or prevent plastic bottles from reaching the ocean, supporting environmental protection.

Participants have access to a private Facebook group where they can share experiences and motivate one another. The challenge lets you log any distance-based activities, including yoga or weightlifting. You can choose your own start date and challenge duration. Access to a mobile app for iOS and Android to track your progress. Participants can choose any amount of time to complete the challenge. Medals and apparel are available, and taking part supports environmental initiatives.
