Maraton Sztafet Ekiden

The 20th Onet Marathon Relay is Poland’s largest team running event. It will take place on 23 May 2026 at the Main Campus of the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw. This unique event brings together runners of all abilities, with six-person teams covering the marathon distance together in the Japanese ekiden relay format. The event promotes teamwork and cooperation, offering different relay-leg distances that make it easier for beginner runners to take part. It’s a great opportunity for friendly competition and bonding with friends, family or colleagues.

Starts take place in waves; participants select their start time during registration. The race bib must be worn on the front of the outfit and kept visible. Participants should arrive well before the start to allow time to use the baggage drop, changing rooms and toilets. Time is measured net, from the moment each participant crosses the start line. Volunteers help with the event’s organization and atmosphere, and volunteer registration is open. The event promotes cooperation, community and team spirit, with different distances and categories for various age groups, including races for children and young people.
