Maraton 3 Jezior / Three Lakes Marathon

The 3 Lakes Marathon is a mountain running festival held in the picturesque Beskid Mały region, in the Soła River valley. The main event is an ultramarathon of approximately 43 km with around 2,485 m of elevation gain, traversing the highest parts of the Beskid Mały mountains and offering beautiful views of three lakes and the surrounding mountains. The course combines demanding climbs with technical descents, giving participants the chance to experience both the region’s wild nature and its historic sites. The event takes place during the beautiful transition from summer to autumn, adding to the charm of the course and its surroundings.

Start and finish: the race starts at 8:00 in Międzybrodzie Bialskie and finishes at the stadium in Porąbka. Course time limit: 10h30min. The course passes through varied terrain, including forests, meadows, and a suspension bridge over the Soła. There are refreshment points along the course and a spectator zone in Czernichów. The course is technically demanding, with significant elevation gain. Other distances and accompanying races are also available as part of the festival. The event features a range of distances, a festival atmosphere, electronic timing, and courses through lakes and mountains, offering an unforgettable experience.
