Kresowe Trail #5

Kresowe Trail #5 in Prostki is a running challenge offering two routes: the shorter Szpurt (approx. 7 km) and the longer Wertep (approx. 17 km). The routes pass through scenic landscapes and feature technical elements such as climbs, sand and roots, as well as historic sites in the Municipality of Prostki, including the Border Pillar from 1545 and a former wooden Evangelical church from 1667. The start and finish are at the forest stadium in Prostki, providing a comfortable spot for spectators. The race is part of the season-long Kresowe Trail series, with overall and team classifications, and the option to take part in the DUAL competition combining running and cycling.

The overall classification is available after completing 6 races; the FINISHER title is awarded for 11 races and SUPER FINISHER for 12 races. Team competition is held separately for the Szpurt and Wertep distances. The DUAL competition combines the Szpurt run with the cycling Half Marathon. Most of the route follows a permanent MTB course marked since 2017, with varied sporting and scenic sections. The event includes trail races as well as other sporting activities, with online registration available. Route and registration details will be available on the organizer’s website.
