The 8H GRF 'Szychta na Gichcie' Ultramarathon is a unique running event held on forest trails of the Palowice Lake District. The competition lasts 8 hours, during which participants face endurance challenges and enjoy contact with nature. The event is organized by the Luxtorpeda Association and attracts long-distance endurance enthusiasts. The event also features races for children, emphasizing its family-friendly character. The start and finish are located at the Orzeł Palowice sports field.

Participants must have their own water bottle or cup. The race office is open from 6:15 AM, technical briefing at 7:45 AM. The race starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. Award ceremonies are planned for 4:30/5:00 PM. During the event, children's races in memory of Jacek Kostrzewa are also organized. The event includes grilling and participant integration, online registration is available, and the route runs through picturesque forest areas of Palowice.
