Gontyniec Ultra Trail is a mountain trail run held on the picturesque Gontyniec Hill in Chodzież, the highest elevation of the Greater Poland Lake District. The routes mainly follow forest paths along the red and yellow trails, offering runners various distances and elevation gains. Organized by the Gontyniec Ultra Trail Foundation, the event attracts trail and ultra running enthusiasts from all over Poland, providing unique challenges over distances from 12 to 52 km. This iconic event combines sporting competition with the beauty of nature and regional history.
