Chojnik Karkonoski Festiwal Biegowy

The Chojnik Karkonoski Running Festival is a mountain running event held in Sobieszów, in the heart of the Karkonosze Mountains. The festival offers a variety of distances, from a family educational run to a demanding 102 km ultramarathon with over 5,000 m of elevation gain. The routes follow scenic, rocky trails in Karkonosze National Park, offering unique views and challenges for runners of varying abilities. The event fosters a sense of community and promotes running as a team sport, as well as nature education.

Race starts take place from 2:00 (Ultra Chojnik) to 10:30 (Educational Run). The participant limit for Ultra Chojnik is 100, and for the Chojnik Marathon it is 325. Mandatory equipment for the ultra includes, among other things, a headlamp, a phone with roaming, an NRC emergency blanket, and a course map. Aid stations and drop bags are available along the route. The Educational Run features educational stops and nature-related questions.
