Bieg Powstania Warszawskiego

The Warsaw Uprising Run is an annual running event held in Warsaw, commemorating the Heroes of the Warsaw Uprising. The event attracts thousands of participants who start on distances of 5 and 10 kilometers, creating a unique, solemn atmosphere of patriotism and historical remembrance. The run is wave-started and takes place in the evening, which further emphasizes its distinctive character. Organizers also offer a virtual edition, allowing participation from anywhere in the world.

Wave start divided into 3 waves approximately every 6 minutes for the 5 km and every 7 minutes for the 10 km. Participants in the 10 km race are ceremoniously brought to the start line at 21:15. Participant limit: 7,500 for 10 km and 5,000 for 5 km. Race bibs are collected at the Race Office at ul. Konwiktorska 6 in Warsaw from July 24-26, 2025. On race day, bib collection for participants from outside Warsaw is possible from 16:00 to 18:00. Required documents include an ID and a QR code for packet pickup. Minors must present a parental or guardian statement. The event includes both on-site and virtual options, with medals, T-shirts, and certificates, and aims to honor the memory of the Warsaw Uprising.
