Bieg o Złotą Kaczkę

The Golden Duck Run is an annual running event held in Toszek. Its aim is to promote running and Nordic walking as recreational activities, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and foster social integration, including the participation of people with disabilities. The main race course is approximately 10 km long and runs over mixed surfaces, including paving stones, asphalt, dirt roads, and park paths, with soft surfaces predominating. The start and finish are by Toszek Castle. The organizers offer numerous age and special categories, as well as trophies for the top competitors.

The event office is open on race day from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Nordic walking course is approximately 6 km, and the course for participants with disabilities is approximately 6 km. Participation by wheelchair users is not possible due to the surface. Age and special categories are available for runners, Nordic walkers, participants with disabilities, and uniformed services. Additional categories are available for residents of the Municipality of Toszek. The event promotes a healthy lifestyle, and the course may be muddy and slippery. Participants can choose from different distances, and the event also includes Nordic walking and 6 km races for people with disabilities.
