Race description
The 64th Westerplatte Run is the oldest continuously organized street race in Poland, covering a distance of 10 kilometers, held in Gdańsk. The race starts at a historic site where World War II began, giving the event a unique character and an atmosphere of reflection on sacrifice and peace. The route is certified and marked every kilometer, and the finish line is at the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, which adds an extra attraction for participants. The event attracts up to 5,000 runners and is both a sporting challenge and a tribute to the Coast Defenders of 1939.

Number pickup at Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk on September 6-7, 2026. Water refreshment point approximately at 6 km on the route. Participant limit is 5000 people. Free buses transport competitors to the start on race day. Deposit for belongings with a start number sticker. No showers available. Award ceremony around 11:45 at the finish line. Cash prizes and trophies for winners in the OPEN classification and age categories. Registration from March 2, 2026, to August 20, 2026, with a limit of 4900 participants, and the option to purchase official T-shirts at the Expo. The event includes package pickup, expo, transportation, start, and awards at Westerplatte.
